dan gmelin

Dan Gmelin is entering his 14th year of coaching youth lacrosse. Dan currently coaches for Ridgefield Youth Lacrosse as well as Cavalry. In addition, he runs a speed and agility program based on his past collegiate and professional football careers.

CAITLIN SLAMINKO

Caitlin Slaminko joins Cavalry Lacrosse Club as a coach for the 2032 Girls team, bringing elite playing experience from Cornell Women’s Lacrosse.

Caitlin was a multi-sport athlete at Ridgefield High School, competing in both lacrosse and soccer. She continued on to play lacrosse at Cornell, where she was a standout midfielder and attacker, a two-year team captain and one of the top offensive players in the Ivy League, being named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List.

As a coach, Caitlin brings that same intensity and attention to detail to player development, and her experience competing at the highest level allows her to guide players through both skill progression and long-term development.
